And that began to glow in the cave of Hira

Crying and asking His Creator; so when revelation came to him, he shine

بالروضة سكنت روحي .. وجوار الهادي محمد

Ya Taibatu ji’tuki sabba, li rasoulillahi muhibba

Birrawdhati sakanat rouhi, wa jiwaril hadi Muhammad

O Taiba (Medina) I came to you sick from longing

Full of love for the Messenger of Allah

My soul settled in the Rawdha (Prophet’s grave)

And resided beside our Guide-Muhammad
